Blog Numer 26.  Los dias de Arequipa y Canon de Colca. 

Despues saliendo Puno cojimos un onmibus (20 soles!) a Arequipa.  Cuando llegamos tuvimos que buscar un hostal bastante barato pero fino.  Tuvimos exito. 

Comimos encima un edificio en la plaza de armas y vimos tal vez lo mejor atardecer de mi vida.

Ademas, Comimos comida riquisima. encima un edificio.  Con un atardecer.

La Manana despues fuimos al canon de colca para ver el canon que es el segundo mas profundo en todo el mundo.  Si hay un sendero por el fondo pero fuimos arriba para verlo del un cima por su entrada.  Era un buena idea, pero todavia tenemos ganas a regresar y ir de excursión por el fondo.  De todos maneras, fuimos alla este vez.  Hay un boleto turistico que tuvimos ganas a evitar, pero no pudimos.  Cuestan 70 soles cada uno!  Ellos nos dijeron que los necesitamos para ir arriba, pero no es verdad.  Entonces, si ustedes van a ir arriba del canon de colca, no compren los boletos.

Despues una camioneta que era sorprendiendo en su belleza pasamos el ano nuevo en un pequeno pueblito se llama madrigal con solo 300 inhabitantes.  Era....interesante.  :)

Despues dos noches en el canon regresamos a Arequipa para comer y comer y comer. Y mirar un otro atardecer. 

Yo comi casi la mejor cosa en todo mi vida alla.  Con cada bocado tuve que relajarme y imaginar un verano con mis primos, pescando en el sol, riendo, rodeado por todo el mundo que me aman.

nunca voy a olvidar este.

Recuerdan.  La primera parte de los fotos aca es de antes el canon, y el segundo parte es despues.  Sin embargo, no se porque pero los fotos son desordinados.  Los que son primero en realidad son desde el segundo parte, y los que son segundo son desde el primer dia.

Blog Numer 26. The days of Arequipa and Colca Canyon.

After leaving Puno we took a onmibus (20 soles!) To Arequipa. When we arrived we had to find a hostel pretty cheap but fine. We succeeded.

We ate up a building in the main square and saw perhaps the best sunset of my life.

Furthermore, we ate tasty food. above a building. With a sunset.

The morning after we went to Colca Canyon to see the canyon is the second deepest in the world. Yes there is a path from the bottom but we went up above to see the top by its entry. It was a good idea, but we still want to go back and hike through the bottom. In any case, we went there this time. There is a tourist ticket we had wanted to avoid, but we could not. They cost 70 soles each! They told us that we need them to go above, but this is not true. So if you are going to go above the Colca Canyon, do not buy the tickets.



After one hike that was surprising in its beauty we spent the New Year in a small town called madrigal with on ly 300 inhabitants. It was .... interesting. :)

After two nights in the canon we went back to Arequipa to eat and eat and eat.  And watch another sunset.

I ate almost the best thing in my life there. With each bite I had to relax and imagine a summer with my cousins, fishing in the sun, laughing, surrounded by everyone I love.

I will never forget this.

Remember. The first part of the photos here is from before the canon, and the second part is after.  However, they photos are in a mixed up order so really the first ones are from after the canyon, the second ones are from before.  Don-t ask me why.
